last updated: april 5th, 2004: the dead: i spent my new years with the dead at the oakland arena working for bill kreutzmann. highlights of the shows included a giant space-ship landing onstage, and the cool laser show. i also recently spent some time with bill in a san francisco recording studio known as sy klopps. he was doing a session with some friends of his, and brought me in to tune the studios drum-kit, and play percussion on some of the takes. i'm getting ready for the rehearsals to begin in early may for the 2004 summer dead tour. i'll be on the road throughout june, july and august, and am feeling better this time around, as i now know what i'm in for... hell - with good catering.

the rocket queens: the rocket queens have a show coming up at the hard-rock cafe in san francisco with teeze on april 17th. check out the shows page for more information. there has been discussion amongst the members (heheheh) of the queens regarding a possible rehearsal before the show, but i don't buy it. check out meris - featuring jizzy and fat sorebum (old drummer from the RQ's), and while you're at it - also check out love songs - featuring slosh and again that pesky fat sorebum. (make sure you have any pop-up killer turned off for the meris website.)

enda: i am very sad to report that enda no longer exists in it's full-rock-band form. earlier this year, the enda girls decided it was time to throw in the towel, and once again... i was in the situation of having joined a kick-ass band at the tail-end of its' career (i.e. andiamo). needless to say, i am very sad to no longer be playing with jen and val, and hope to one day talk them into reforming and conquering the world. until then, i'm looking to start a new original project - as i feel like a music whore only playing in cover/tribute bands at the moment.

stereogrande: we have been playing our asses off - usually every friday and saturday night - 3 to 4 sets per night, plus rehearsals two night a week. we are at the point where bars are starting to call us to book gigs, and we're turning down low-paying ones. we have a fine collection of panties and bra's that were thrown on-stage by the fast-growing hordes of stereogroupies that are regulars at the shows. we're not complaining. stereogrande has now played as far south as san jose, and now looks to stretch out towards the north/east. click here for upcoming stereogrande gigs - we're more than likely playing very close to the time that you're reading this. warning: stereogrande isn't happy until you're not happy.
